NB I am not sure if this is Japanese only or if it includes the English version. Any japanese readers able to help out ?

It is the Japanese version only.

The English version is due in the Spring. As a moderator on the Silkypix forum, we've been promised advance notification regarding the English beta release as several of us have requested that we be involved in the English text as we would like to avoid some of the wierd "Japlish" that it has suffered from in the past.

Thanks for the info Richard Best of luck with the japanese lessons!

Anyway it's easy to criticise, much harder to do. An old college friend of mine has a PhD in Japanese, haven't been in contact for years, but I could see if they were interested in some business if it helps.

FWIW from my experience during the trial period I decided to buy the current version anyway, hopefully the yen-GBP will improve by the spring so the upgrade becomes a bit cheaper !
