Sigma Zoom Master

I bought a box of old MF lenses recently for a few £ - mainly just to get the adaptall II mount off one of them.

2 of the 3 lenses are excellent door stops but the 3rd one is in very nice condition in the original Sigma hard case.

It is a manual focus Sigma zoom master f2.8-4 35-70mm MC.

I can not find any info about this lens in a Pentax mount - later AF version yes but not this old MF.

I was going to stick it in ebay for £5-£10 but at f/2.8 if the IQ is OK - could be quite a useful fast little zoom.

Anybody any experience of it?

Carl

Is this it?

If so I just gave one away to work colleague to whom I recommended the K30 for his photography student daughter, I never used it apart from checking that it worked so cant say how good or bad it is.

LBA is good for you, a Lens a day helps you work, rest and play.

Thanks Brian - yes that's the one. Sounds as if it is well regarded and the sample images on that link look very good indeed.

May have to have a little play with this one. It's been a while sine I used a manual focus lens - will do me good!

Cheers
