So after much thought and the total lack of practicality of the standard mount, I bought a TS-41 for my Sigma 70-200 Mk1. Now I can actually carry the kit easier and it works so much better on the harness.

TS-41 alongside a K5 and 70-200 Mk1

$149.95 at B&H but I see it at GBP180+ in the UK so yes very costly there.

I must confess I'm tempted to get one, not so much for the 70-200 but the 100-300 F4 which is a hefty beast whilst walking around. There would be a lot of strain on the camera mount if you were to let it dangle.

I believe it also fits the Sigma 120-300 2.8, which if you shoot with one of the mounts as well helps to justify spending this extortionate amount. Having searched the internet i couldn't find anything that matches it for these lenses, just need to convince the wife now !

Regards
