Sigma Lens Problem

Hi,

Very new to all this but am hoping for some help. I've just bought a Sigma 150-500mm f4-5.6 APO DG lens fitted to my camera (K10D) and the auto focus doesn't work. I've read all the info I can on this and from what I can gather it should.

Is the lens defective or doesn't my camera support this function?

Any advice/help greatly appreciated.

Don't have the 150-500 but if it's HSM focusing then the K10D has to have Version 1.3 firmware to work with it.

Yup - agree - I've been investigating the 150-500 and you need to download 1.3 from the Pentax Website.

By the way Darren if you don't mind me asking where did you buy the lens and what was the price?
