Could be but put money on it there will be one camera mount that doesn't get it. Like Tamron, Sigma will decide the bargain basement DG 70-300 is all Pentax owners need. I'm still waiting for Tamron to release a Pentax mount version of the superb SP AF 70-300 Di VC USD. Every other mount has it......grrrr

And other lenses made by Tamron.......
Rumour has it that part owner - Sony - have put in a clause to NOT provide lenses for their closest rival, which is of course Pentax.
They have however let Tamron make the 18-270 for Pentax, and let Pentax charge more for it....

Of all the Tamron Lenses out there, I just wish the 60mm F2 Macro, the 24-70mm VC and 70-200mm VC were on the Pentax mount. Oh and of course the new 150-600.....But we wont be seeing them on k-mount anytime soon

Ah that would explain it. And a real shame as Tamron have some nice lenses.

It just might be Ricoh, who asked them not to bring them out with K-mounts.
So they sell more Pentax lenses.
