Thanks Stu. I'll try it on the K5ii tomorrow and see what it does. Monday may be do-able but will have to check with the boss as our nights are pretty jam packed with kids stuff and the like !

I haven't used my Sigma 70-200 much since I've had my K3II but I'll give it a bit more time over the next week. It's had a fair bit of use on my K5 and no problems. It does however over expose by 0.7.
My office is in Cardiff: top end of Cathedral Rd, so if you want to try out the lens or body get in touch

Quick question. I have used my recently purchased Sigma 70-200mm II HSM twice now. Once on the K5 briefly and again today with the K3ii. On the K3ii today the lens would intermittently stop working though.
The AF wouldn't work and the bit in the camera top screen where it shows what type of AF points you have selected was flashing from centre spot AF to centre AF repeatedly ? If I played with the AF/M switch on the lens and also on the camera normal service would resume but randomly it would start doing it again.
As I have set the camera to AF by rear button and not the shutter release I can still take images with it when it's in this state but of course without them being in focus.
Since owning the K3ii I have put the DA* 16-50mm, Sigma 105mm EX and the Pentax FA 50mm on it and it's never done that with any of them lenses so I'm guessing it's either something to do with that lens and camera combo or the lens has developed a fault?
Any ideas?
