I've got the 24-60 f2.8 which is very good. Only now Sigma have uprated it to 24-70 f2.8.
How old a model is the 24-50?

don,t no how old it is but it,s mf having a day in wales tommorrow so i will give it a try out it says it f4-f5.6 but shows f4 at both ends acording to my k20

I have a Sigma 24-70 3.5-5.6 lens that was the kit lens on a *ist that I bought on eBay. It normally sits in the cupboard but I decided to try it out last year when I travelled to the middle of nowhere for work and didn't want to take my best kit. It did the job, nothing stood out as being wrong but it wasn't particularly good either.

i can now report that this lens is very good all my latest rally photos on the gallery where taken with this lens its a keeper
