Sigma 100-300 F4.5-6.7DL - any good?

Sorry, All my SLR glass is Pentax.
As far as Sigma go, I think you get what you pay for. Their budget lenses are, well, budget lenses with the performance to match. Their better ones can perform very well, not quite as good as Pentax but they do get close.

I got an offer on 35£ for this and a sigma 28-90mm F3.5-5.6 Aspherical Macro.
