Close second to Pentax 77mm limited lens?

I fell in love with the 77mm limited, but I'm afraid i can't afford it at the moment. What comes in close second? Thanks.

Two Pentax lenses spring to mind, the FA 50/1.4 and the FA 100/2.8 Macro.

If you don't plan to use it for film too, how about the 70mm limited? Cheaper than the 100mm macro and a lot cheaper than the 77mm.

If you can find one at a sensible price, there is the 85/2M.

I would recommend the Jupiter-9 85/2.

It's a great portrait lens and can be had for £30-50.
