Thoses images look great Rob.
My favourite one is No 3
You were lucky with the weather then. I hesitate in going because noticed weather wasn't going to be optimum, but I guess I was wrong. Well, I am off to contact my lawyers to sue the BBC weather reporter

Thanks for your comments Amin. In fact this was the day before the Duxford show, I wasn't going to go to this one but as it was a nice evening decided to go at the last minute

Rob, #6 the silver jet is a great image, it looks so stark and sleek with it's metallic colour against the blue of the sky. Great sharpness, too.
Is this the full frame or a cropped image?

Thanks Paul
No cropping on any of these, they are the full frame.
That's a F86A Sabre based at Duxford and is due to go to the US very shortly to a new owner

The space you've given these subjects is great, too,

Oh, that Sabre...
Never seen one flying.
Actually they're all good, that Sabre...

Excellent set. That Sabre must have been the inspiration for some of Gerry Anderson's fictional planes!

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Thanks for all your comments
Actually I have been trying so hard to get a decent shot of the Sabre over the past couple of years and especially since I heard that it wasn't going to be in the UK for much longer. I was very fortunate with the conditions on Saturday as well

Love the Sabre and the Hurricane, but especially the biplane (Tiger Moth?)

The first airshow of the season for me with the K-7 and Sigma 100-300mm F4...a great combination also helped with some great conditions
The images are much sharper on my Flickr page though
Thanks for looking and C&C welcome.
