shutter speed problem K-5

Hi, I'm having problems setting the shutter speed on my K-5, I've had the camera about 2 years with no problems but today when I put it in TV mode and put it to the speed I want when I take a shot it changes to whatever it wants, any advice please

P.S .... just tested the TAv mode where I can change both shutter and aperture and it works fine for that.

Might be worth trying loading the latest firmware - or re-loading it if you are up to date - or re-setting to factory settings.

Hello uksweetheart, here is the FIX: See Item 7 in the custom settings menu, turn OFF Auto EV Compensation.
Also play with the edial programming menu in Tv mode for a fix.
