I've done 25,137 in two and a half years on the K10D - so about 10k a year is my average (although I've used other cameras over the same period but none of them to anywhere near the same extent).

had one of my cameras just over 7 months shutter count is 15007.
my k7 not had 2 weeks is 1684.

I must be doing somthing wrong, my count is 290 in 3 months, less 1 day I shall endeavour to use it more often.

Quality or quantity ... So far it ranges from 5/day up to over 70 !

Hi Steloz, I see you use a Sigma DG 70-300 with your 20D. Do you have any issues with the autofocus. Are you happy with the lens in all respects.

Well I must admit the K10D is my first DSLR and I went mad for the first year ... I was probably doing 150 a day plus. In the last 8 months I would say around 20 a week (apart from certain events like Bournemouth Air Show).

Bought my K20d at the end of April last year for my Birthday.
Have just turned the clock for a second time and yesterday took image 21,406.
I do a lot of sports shots for the local paper and website - one cricket match last year notched up 1300 images alone!
Love it!

Most in one day was 1092, at Cosford Airshow last year - Vulcan XH558 was there so why not?
Most I ever took in a day before that was back in the '90s on 35mm with my A3. 6 rolls of 36, over 200 pics!
That was at Mildenhall Airshow, cost me over £40 for films and D&P, but worth every penny.

K10D. Tamron 18-250 F3.5/6.3, P-KA 50mm 1.4, Takumar-A 28-80mm F3.5/4.5, Vivitar 70-300mm F4.2/5.8, Teleplus MC-7 2x converter and some Cokin stuff. Also Optio E80(coz I've got big fingers!), Pentax A3 and Chinon CP-7m.
