Hello, I have a Pentax K20D with a shutter count of 10,475. Is this high.

I don’t believe so. 10,000 is reasonable.

I don't see many reports of shutter failure in Pentax cameras so I would say your camera still has a lot of life left. It's also the last of the CCD sensors so enjoy the beautiful colour reproduction

I think the K10D was the last of the CCD sensor models, the 20 was the first of the CMOS.

It makes the CCD sensor even more interesting knowing it was only around for a short while.

If it's of any use, the dealer Cameraworld would, other factors being equal, class around 10,000 clicks as Excellent condition.

But they are dealers...
