Buy a 50mm F1.4 lens (if 50mm is long enough).
Cheers, Kris.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

As Womble says, get a suitable length lens with a nice wide aperture, apart from allowing a faster shutter, it'll also give more light in the viewfinder.
If you haven't got the cash for new gear right now your gonna have to shoot at a high iso & try & deal with the noise with software later, so shooting Raw is your best bet.

Note that 50mm at F1.4 will have very shallow DOF. So any mistake on focusing is highly visible.
