Only shoes!!
I was there yesterday. My wife and daughter were admitted but not poor old me.
I did suggest i remove my trainers but was advised that would not be appreciated
A couple of familys were also turned away because their youngsters were wearing boat shoes for goodness sake.
Really strange behaviuor and there is nothing on their webste about these restrictions.

As I am considering visiting The Shard I contacted them regarding footwear, and received this reply;
"In regards to your query, there is no restriction in “The View from The Shard” in regards to the dresscode or footwear. However, if you are going to the restaurants in The Shard which is a separate company they do have a dresscode."

That is not what I was told last Sunday. We wished to go to the view.
Perhaps they should tell that to the"greeter" at the entrance!!
