Hi. Just put a 36 film through the SFX. Result is a whole blank film. It would appear that the sync curtail has failed. The camera appears to be working in every other aspect.
Is this a known problem? Would this be a economic repair?
If I have to replace, which film camera would be the best option?

Not sure if it's a common problem, I have an SFX with shutter/drive issues - doesn't do anything so I can't investigate. It doesn't have a battery grip, but I'd be willing to put it in the post for spares if that would help.

Best advice is to contact Harrow Technical linkfor an estimate, but I doubt it would be economic.

Sadly, it is definitely not worth repairing when you see how little they sell for on ebay

Are you sure the film went through the camera? I've managed to think I've shot a roll before now, only it hadn't taken up properly.
