It's seems like a loss of £60, not sure I think its a result. Is the eBay seller going to refund you?

I'm with Doug..£60 lost and a sour experience on eBay, loss of goodwill...

At least on here and with reputable sellers like SRS the seller tries to resolve whatever problem there is with the item...in most cases. If a member wants to continue selling stuff on here then he or she doesn't want the reputation of a problem seller.

Glad it's sorted anyway

How is it a loss?

It was sold on Ebay as used and he got a brand new camera which is worth more than was originally paid for an extra £60.

Personally I would be well happy.

As for the seller .. to be honest would you take someones word for it if someone came back to you saying there was a mark on the sensor after 3 weeks of use?

I don't think so.

Yes the new camera will come with full warranty and paperwork, and will be easy to either sell unopened or get sorted should further issues arise.

Hi.
I am quite content with the result and willing to spend £60 for it.
I was not sure what it was and wanted to check with the seller before I did anything.
He seemed quite clear that he was nothing to do with the problem.
Now I am waiting for the new camera which is going to be delivered tomorrow.
Thanks all.
Mike! I really appreciate your help.

Enjoy your new camera: I'm sure you will. You'd never have been really happy with the other one, I suspect.

(What a wonderfully supportive bunch of guys lurk round this forum. It's why we love it so much!)
Best wishes,

Andrew
