Sensor Cleaning, a new solution?

I have been using the Pentax sensor cleaning kit for several years, In fact i am on my second kit which i bought about 3 years ago. Nikon used to sell an identical one but with the gel yellow coloured instead of orange on the pentax one. It has worked extremely well and last for about 30 cleans but i have not had any need to use it on my K5II and K3 yet. A blower has been the only thing other than the camera`s own dust removal system.

I have to admit that of all I have owned, and the list is extensive.
Over the the last five years: Canon 50D/7D/5DMKII, Sony:A77/850/A900, Nikon: D90/D200/300/300s/D700/D800/D800E/D3/D600x2/D7000, Pentax: K5x2,K5IIs/K3.
The single digit K bodies have by far and away the best dust removal system, I have never had to wet clean a Pentax, it's a bit unfair on the 35mm sensor size because the larger area is simply prone to more dust, just a fact of life I'm afraid but that does not excuse the D600 which finished me with Nikon for good...
As the 5DMKII did with Canon, I mean a Camera that packed up in the mist, what a pussy!

It is worth having some form of cleaning kit in your camera bag just in case of the unexpected. The reason i bought one msny years ago was that i was out photographing at sunrise when my Ist* DL sensor steamed up. I thought that if i gently blew on it it might clear, Unfortunately i allowed a bit of spit to escape and hit my sensor! I had to travel 30 miles to the nearest camera shop and wait for it to open. They sold me some swabs for £17 and kindly gave me a drop of cleaning fluid for free. So as soon as i found the Pentax 01-CK1 kit i bought one straight away! I used it on other people`s sensors too.

For cleaning on the fly the visible dust electostatic brushes seem to have some cadre but I sold minehere to a fellow forummer, as with a Pentax I have found that the Cameras own cleaning system was just as effective, He had some very very stubborn dust which the brush eventually removed.
Pollen is the thing it's a bugger to get off and only wet cleaning seems to solve that...

I bought the Pentax version a long time ago, when I had the K10D I think.

The best thing about it was the name... O...ick!
