Selling Old Equipment

I intend to purchase a "Pentax 100mm WR Macro D-FA Lens" in the near future,for my new Pentax K5 camera, but I need to raise some money first from selling some of my old equipment!

Amongst the many "steam" cameras/lenses I have to get rid of,I have some quality Pentax equipment, such as:- a Pentax SMC 1:5.6/400mm lens; a Pentax SMC Reflex Zoom 1:8~12 400-600mm; a Pentax LX Waist-Level Magn-Finder FE-1; all in excellent condition. I may even sell one of my Pentax LX cameras

Do you think I would get a fair price for any of them on a "trade in" deal that some of the suppliers advertise, or do you think it would be better to advertise them on this site and / or E-bay?

If in nice condition you should do very well. eBay will give you the widest audience, so despite the fees may be a good choice. Amazon Martketplace is another option. Selling here is a third option.

In the latter two cases, you'll need to decide on a price.

You do know your lenses will work with your K5?

SMC 1:5.6/400mm is it M or A?
