Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays or whatever mid-winter greeting you prefer.

Hope you have a great time.

Best wishes from Woodstock, NY. Kris.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I hope Santa's brought everyone what they wanted for Christmas - he's brought me socks, rolling tobacco and a set of 3 Cokin ND grads; so he must have got my list after all!

It looks like a 31mm was beyond the capabilities of his elves though so I'll have to stump up for that m'self...

Merry Christmas one and all!

That's cruel - I now have an image of a sweet faced child probably with golden curls proffering their gift of 'rolling tobacco'.

Priceless.

Well I was sitting here with the dog this morning when I got a call from the wife back in the UK to say the electric went off at 5am and will probably not be back until late tonight/tomorrow.
She phone her auntie round the corner and asked her to bring some matches round so that she could light the gas cooker and rings for some heat which she did and then while her back was turned my son put the whole kitchen size box onto the burner and set fire to it.

On the plus side, at least we know the smoke alarms work ok.

Well that's made me chuckle - so not a total loss.

Hope it all works out for them.

Are you keeping warm enough? I recall you saying the only use for the dog was keeping your feet warm.

Duncan,
I think you and my mom need to get together for a pint or two, and some laughs, some day....you seem to think alike.

I tried to get Mom to come to a Christmas service the other day. She said she's on the fence..you know, she believes in God...she can accept the concept of the Virgin Birth, but she has doubts that they found three wise men.

Oh well there's always next year!
Merry Christmas!
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.
