But note very carefully the transfer rate of SHDC cards. Most of them are 2Mb per second. Compared with 20Mb per second of the 133x cards sdhc
Even the highest speed SHDC cards are only 6Mb per second
I'm sticking to 2Gb cards. Cheaper than Fuji Provia was!!

Just bought a Sandisk Extreme III 2Gb for £17.99 from mymemory.co.uk!
I guess the prices are tumbling as the 4GB and 8GB cards come on stream.

I bought one of their brand 4gb "normal" speed cards, got "memory card error" in the k10d but it worked in the Ist DS. Fairly quick callback from customer service (option to leave a message rather than stay on the phone and wait for someone). They told me to send the card back (via free post) for a full refund. I expect the refund should be appearing on my card in the next few days.
Meanwhile I changed my mind and instead of a replacement of their card I bought a 2gb Kingston 120x for what I think is a great price (£22 including VAT). For anyone who doesn't know, the 120x and 133x etc. doesn't seem to matter as much as the average read and write speeds, which vary quite a bit. This writes fast - almost up there with the sandisk extreme III but much cheaper.
