Hi Gang...
Just a quick question.
I do Pre-School portraits, and possible contracts for normal Schools...
Just wondering....does anyone know of any programmes that help speed the process of proofing.....ie order forms, proofed images...etc etc..

Thanks one and all....

Happy Christmas....

Hi Duncan,
Have you tried the Image file it does it all on line and you can set it up to use any print house you like, customer just goes to the website and orders, all paperwork branded as your own and prints go direct to customer.
They can be password protected as well, ideal for kids and parents, the school issues the password and protects children at risk etc.

hope this is helpful, have a good holiday

you running a mac?
I saw a proofing thing for aperture that allowed for online proofing....
then there's photoreflect
I just don't do those highvolume jobs so I'm not sure if my ideas will help...
I can't tell you how many times I turn parents away that ask me how much to copy the proofs though...
I tell them I'll call the other guy for permission, price match the other photographer for prints, plus the cost of scanning, and can't gaurentee the scanned results will look as good blown up as an original file.
That usually makes em go away.
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

This is who and what we use - I highly recommend them. You set up a master proof card (various options) and you can upload your files to their server via FTP if you like or send them a CD. Turn around is very fast and the orders come bagged and mounted. Of several thousand pictures I have had complaints with none of them.
