The Z1 requires a SCA3702 Module on a SCA3000C Cable for the Metz 45CT4.
I use the same SCA units with a Metz 45CL4 on a MZ5N with no problems.

Just bought secondhand a Metz SCA 374/2 AF module to connect my Z1 to my Metz 45CT4 flashgun. Although the flash fires, the shutter speed is the same as if there were no flash fitted, i.e., shooting indoors, shutter fires at 1/4 second or slower. Hotshoe works fine with my AF400FTZ.
Have tried all settings on module i.e., leading curtain, trailing curtain and SB. Have fitted new batteries. Seems as if the internal circuitry is faulty. Would appreciate anyone's experience with this.
i recently purchased a pre-owned Metz SCA 374/2M AF modole. As it does not contain instruction book, so feared to use with Pentax MZ5. May i request to know about this adapter and for which specific gears it was made. i have MBs 30TTli, 36CT2,32CT2,45CT4, 45CT5,60CT2 etc. Any input/advice on SCA374/2M AF dedication with Pentax gears will be appreciated.Just bought secondhand a Metz SCA 374/2 AF module to connect my Z1 to my Metz 45CT4 flashgun. As far as I can tell, this adaptor works with SFX7-era cameras
