Very effective, I really like it. Love the way the Sax 'jumps out'.

I'm not keen. There's a great image in there. I think the type of processing you've done on it hides that great image.

To me the sax doesn't jump out, rather what jumps out is the desaturation and the bright spots, not just above his head but at the side and between his legs, under the speaker, etc

The muted tones suit the player and the surroundings, but yes, the sax itself probably wants a bit more 'gleam'. The various small hotspots of light don't have a clear source, which makes them appear a bit unnatural.
