Very impressive shots, showing your skill as a photographer.
Glad to hear you're enjoying the K-01, I'd like one as well, but too many things wanted at the moment.

Love mine and I disagree re it's looks, it's a beautiful looking camera but I can see where it's a bit of a marmite issue.

Very nice pics indeed Bob... I also have a K-01... like you, extremely pleased with it... use it as a back up landscape body, and also for urban pics either in crowded places, or out with the kids etc... Looks like a toy, K5 picture quality, half the price... bingo...

Keep seeing so much good work from the k-01. I missed the one SRS had last week for £179

I think it's ugly, but function before form eh? - Great pics.

Interesting, I was on the verge of picking up a quality compact to save some weight, but I'm thinking maybe one of these or even an old Kx, would make a lot more sense. Can use all my lenses and won't compromise image quality either.

I'm definitely falling for the K-01. Was out at 4am this morning with it and the Sigma 10-20. For the first ten minutes I had a coffee in one had and happily snapping away with the other. It was quite liberating.
Here's one from this morning:

And here's one I took with it and the Sigma 105mm macro at the weekend. The guy was running quite fast, so pleased he was nice and sharp.

Another thing to mention too is how much easier I find framing shots and how many less pictures I feel the need to take with it. Also very impressed with battery life. I used it for a solid three hours, and the indicator still showed a full charge. Given the dependency on the screen for everything, I would have thought it would suck the life out of the battery fairly quickly. Impressed.

I'm starting to regret selling it to you now! Good to see it's bringing so much joy though. I certainly recommend the 40xs, I could slip it inside a small bag and then in a coat pocket. I think SRS were selling them for £149 a few weeks back, so they may appear again?
Cheers

Wow - can I also add that I've been playing with the 50mm M 1.7. With focus peaking it just works so well. Kids have been playing around in the garden and I've been able to keep up with them so easily. Manual focussing has never been better for me . Makes getting a K-01 really worth while for that alone.
