samsung raw files

Can anyone help, i have started taking shots in both samsung raw and jpg on my GX10. When i dowload the files into picassa both file formats appear. However if i try to pull a raw file into adobe photoshop 7 only the jpgs are available. When i installed photoshop i enabled all raw formats during setup. I want to get the benefits from working from the raw files, so any help would be appreciated.

Photoshop 7 won't open RAW files. You need a RAW converter that will enable you to change the RAW files into JPEG or TIFF so they can beopened in PS7.

I am presuming you did mean PS7 and not Photoshop Elements 7. The latter includes a RAW converter.

If you have the disk that came with the GX10, Samsung's Raw Converter version 2 should be on there, if you dont have the disk you can download it from Samsungs site here http://www.samsung.com/uk/index.html
