If it's got an APS-C sensor, then I would hope it would take K-mount lenses.

It would be a bold move, but If Samsung intend to go it alone they would have to drop the K mount very quickly before they get into a situation where existing users wont move over because of lens collections, I think if this new model has a K mount then its probably going to be K mount all the way for Samsung.

This is an old link, but useful for those who don't know this project (like me!:blush
The sensor size is blanked in the shots so, as a prototype, it could gain a larger MP count before production. That could mean a 20MP sensor (for example) which could find it's way into a Pentax body.
It will be interesting to watch where this goes.

K110+DA40, K200+DA35, K3 and a bag of lenses, bodies and other bits.
Mustn't forget the Zenits, or folders, or...
PPG entries.

Looking at the front to back width I doubt the NX uses a K mount. It would be a bold move, but If Samsung intend to go it alone they would have to drop the K mount very quickly before they get into a situation where existing users wont move over because of lens collections, I think if this new model has a K mount then its probably going to be K mount all the way for Samsung.
It seems to shallow for the focal depth from the lens to sensor to accommodate existing lenses.
It could be a 4/3rds mount though.

It's got an EVF, not a mirror and optical VF - that's why they could decrease the lens-mount to sensor distance. Because of that, I presume the lenses must be different.
But it seems to hint that the sensor is still the same physical size as APS-C.

According to the link in SMC's post it does have an APS-C sensor.
4/3rds on APS-C could give vignetting, just thought of that one!
Still don't think it will be K mount though.

If there is a fully compatible adaptor to use K mount lenses, then I would be happy.

The lens has two buttons on them... AF and SR maybe, if so no in-body SR then right?
As for the K-mount, I believe that the K mount has fixed dimensions and since with NX the distance between the Sensor and the mount is shorter you can not call it a K-mount since no K lens will work on it like it should. There will probable come an adapter so that you can mount K lenses though, hopefully without losing any controls.
