samsung gx20 menu set up

hi. if anyone shares this camera could they perhaps outline what they think is a good standard picture set-up in the menu ie. contrast and sharpening values to have in order to get the most realistic match to what you are actually seeing. i have tried the custom setting too with a variety of colour settings and i think it's slowly driving me insane now i know this is a a pentax user forum and although it's a gx20 body i douse a da40mm and an smc-A 50mm 1.7 so i guess i qualify as a user. cheers Barry

I use +1 on sharpness and contrast and leave everything else well alone. I'm not convinced the contrast adjustment is worth making. If you shoot raw, of course, these settings are ignored. The colour adjustments can take you into a hell that's best avoided unless you have lots of time on your hands and enjoy endless fiddling with an unpredictable outcome. The standard settings seem to do the job.

Enjoy your GX20. It's a very fine camera.
