That sky worked out well with that ND filter eh? The whole image has a somewhat alien feel to it.

I'd brighten it up a bit. There's some lovely tones and textures ion the bottom half of the pic, but too subdued in it's dullness.

Like that. Really takes something to catch the pre-dawn at this time of the year

Thanks for comments.
Smeggy, I was reluctant to lighten the shot for fear of loosing atmosphere?

With No.1, the clarity slider can stay where it is to retain the 'feel' of the image, and it still might benefit from a boost in brightness.

Thanks for comments, I'll re-visit the sunset shot and let you know how I get on.

First one is a bit ho-hum for me, but the sky in the 2nd one is very good. I hope you were still up partying with Pauly, rather than waking up at 3 to take that photo

Hi Gareth, yes I have been down the mono route also with that image, which I was pleased with - very similar to yours, but I personally preferred the soft colour feel.
Tim - we had been eating fajitas and partying hard, I'm surprised we didn't get booted off the caravan site. However I had to get up for a P and noticed the beautiful colours coming up in the sky.
Cheers i-berg
