It was worth getting up Tim, you've got some smashing results there working in difficult conditions with rapidly changing light.
I particularly like the warmth and low shadows in 2 and I like the way you have captured the sun in 5 without blowing highlight. Also the lines formed by the rocks lead the eye into the sun.
Shot 3 doesn't work for me as it is dominated by shrubbery and 4 is a little un-interesting in comparison to the others.

The last one #5 is amazing and stands head, shoulders and nipples above the rest!!!
On #2 I'd crop the bottom out, i.e remove the bottom 40% of the shot, to create a letterbox format to concentrate on the two peaks.

Tim, you've done the hard yards, getting up early and being in the right place at the right time.
I feel that some of these would have more impact with a crop, due to their limited foreground interest.
Some say 'less is more' and it can be made apparent with a useful crop, suggested below.
I have had a go here, hope you don't mind.

Solid set, lovely light on the rocks, especially that boulder in 4 (background lets that one down a bit though).

Many thanks all for the comments. As usual, some really thoughtful and useful criticism. Particularly grateful for the comments/suggestions on cropping - I was becoming aware I needed to work/think more on this, but practical examples help hugely.

Dealing with the dynamic range is tough... #1 and #5 were helped by lightroom fill light, but won't bear close scrutiny and I'm going to have to brush up on grad filter/image combination/HDR techniques to get better images of this kind of thing. I suspect a scouting mission of the location would also have helped. Blundering around in the pre-dawn looking for the best compositions, beset by midges, is not the best approach. But heh, it was great fun!
