The term "and there's more" comes to mind.

Great images.

Love this shot, its great, the lines and light just invite me into the shot - excellent stuff
Thanks Gareth... the light may look inviting, but believe me, the smell of urine wasn't!

There were quite a few 'suspect' turds about the place too

Really good set - #1 & #5 are the standout shots for me. Are you sure it's safe wandering around down there ?

Thanks Kevin. I should have started a new thread really! I wouldn't go down there at night, but during the day there are a few walkers and cyclists about. A narrowboat even went through! I went through on my boat when I had it, several years ago.

Pentax', I like the third and last as documents but I cannot help but feel that they would be enhanced by a third element - some well placed human activity. Maybe a friend...?

Loving #1 and #3 of second set. My shooting buddy and I are still planning to visit there for a shoot.

I'm waiting to get my K-5 replaced before planning anything solid though.

Point taken - I did get some shots with passers by but I'm such a slowcoach I missed the optimum 'decisive moment'. Perhaps Smegs and Co will oblige as willing models if they drop by the area? I can't think of anyone else willing to hang around in that gloomy place while I faff about with my camera

These miss by a mile, but I am often looking for a Gursky-esque emptiness when I go to such places.
