Limoges is an unremarkable town but it does have a few things going for it, one of which is its railway station. A few views, C&C welcome as always:

Nice set although I don't like No. 3, all those converging verticals! I like the first one with the fountain, and I love the fourth one although I might be tempted to try and clone out some of the cables.

Well done.

It's the converging verticals....and the sky.....which make No 3 stand out for me. I may even have a similar shot somewhere (where I can nick the pp ideas)!!

I also really like 5 and 6.

7 I think is a bit too dark and the stars don't lift it enough.

1 and 2 I think I'd prefer without the fountain. That building is pretty special as it is.

Makes a change me giving you c&c eh, dr?

As usual I find myself at odds with the criticism , For me No7 is by far the most interesting image, the darkness of the building is really set off by the stars, the only niggles are the red dot, half way across and a third up, and the white dot 45degree up to the left of the top right window.
Apart from those I can see this as a large print in a slightly dark hallway. It has great atmosphere.

Looks like I'm the odd one out with No 3. Oh well. I still prefer 4!

I don't like the converging verticals in #3 either.
1 and 4 for me, though I do like #5 as well.

I'm with Womble & Gwyn. #3 doesn't do it for me - I feel uncomfortable with the fact the building needs straightening (and no I don't mean the sloping pathways). The building IS off-set and I think it's the lense that's caused it .. I'd bet it was a 10-20 (watch me lose my money now) !

However I really like the rest of the set, especially #1,2,5 & 6. If I had to choose then #5 after PPing out the cables would be my winner.

Kris, Gwyn, Frogfish,

I've taken the liberty of straightening the verticals for you. Do you like it now?

Ha Ha !

Yes I like it much more now ... except for the missing spire & pathways of course, obviously the act of straightening it means we've lost those.

When using a 10-20 you always need to allow plenty of extra 'crop space' around the subject as you'll lose a lot in processing.

But don't you think the tower looks much more distorted now than when it was tilted? None of the angles are correct now, and the clock face is a funny shape. And the top of the tower looks much too big compared to the building below.
