Just back from my Internet "sabbatical" As it's been a bit quiet on the Infra-red front I thought I'd jump in with a picture I took today in Burnham Beeches.

This was taken with my DS and a Hoya R72 filter (8 secs at F11 on ISO200). The main point of the day was to compare the IR sensitivity of the DS and the K10D, and the result is the DS wins hands-down. You have to use a much higher ISO setting on the K10D, 800+, and that (IMHO) puts in too much noise.

Tim,

No matter what the point of the day was - that is a spectacular picture!

Thank's for sharing, and welcome back.
