I'd be very happy if I manage to get a shot of a robin like that, they've been tormenting me for months.

I think the exposure if ok but maybe a little more contrast would give it some more "pop".

It could be the Mac ..... their screens are fantastic and really bright. I printed a 16x12 of my wife recently that looks perfect on my screen but came out a shade or two darker than I'd anticipated. Need to buy a calibrator ..... the X-rite Huey is a decent price.

Ahh ... but I am also looking at it on a Mac but yes the screens are very bright by default, I tend to keep mine at about 50%.
