Hay-on-Wye is one of our favourite places and every now and again we spend a couple of days there, just looking at books.
Best regards, John

Stephen, some lovely images there. Is that third one from behind the falls?
John, have you taken your camera along to any of the bookshops? Always such interesting characters who own them!
AJ, sorry for the distraction on your thread!

I may take you up on the offer someday! I've only been to Oxford and the Midlands, and would love to get to Wales. Hay on Wey's bookshops will be on the list, after hiking in your parks! (Have you ever done some photos at HonW?)
BTW, I took a quick look at the Alan Forest website out of curiosity, and they could benefit from some of your photos!!
Peace to you, AJ,

Peace to you, AJ,
well, and I've never taken the camera there. I might go up one rainy day when there won't be too many people around the the streets would be 'atmospheric'.
Thanks for the vote of confidence in the images, I have actually been working on a set and trying to find the best contact to send samples to.

The Brecon National Park is a great place to visit, waterfalls, caves, mountains, etc... with a stop off at Hay-on-Wye and Hereford of course
I can recommend the area but bring an OS map as many hidden photographical gems are not on a road map and many are only accessible by foot.
See my examples below (link) and so much more.
