Revisited

Recently I re-took a photo that I had taken many years before.

The original was taken using a Nikon FA + Tamron 24mm on HP5.

I have the original print but no scanner so cannot show it.

The retake images below are almost straight out of the camera and then processed to look more like the original.

What do others think??

I've used the first photo for a quick edit, to come up with one that combines (most of) the processing of the second, with (some of) the shadow detail of the first:
