I've had no lock-ups with my K-5 yet (fingers crossed) and I've done quite a bit of work in Live View. Maybe I'm just lucky?

I'm sure I've had something similar happen with my K-5 using liveview with my DFA 100mm f2.8 macro (not sure about the green light coming on though.)
