Remote shutter for K3?

Hi,
Does anyone know what shutter release will work with the K3? Mine will not, whether it's old and out of power, or because it doesn't recognise the camera. I appreciate your comments.

I forget what model model number it is. But the small(50mmx20mmx5mm) Pentax IR remote seems to work
