Reliable repairer wanted - Help

I have a vintage ES11 which the meter has failed on. The general response from repairers seems to be that once the electrics have failed then its all up with the camera.

Does anyone know of / feel able to recomend a good repair shop for older pentaxes? (I know Pentax UK no longer offer a repair service for cameras of the ES11's vintage)

Hi Stephen, I cant recomend a repairer but I will recomend that you DON'T use A.J. & V. Dufton of Oldham, Lancs. I have had a camera in there since the begining of last May, & am now having to resort to legal action to get it returned, still un repaired.

Try Asahi Photo in Brentford. I'm certain they will be able to help.

Or Harrow Technical who have done a brilliant job on my ME-F and LX. (By the way, apart from specialist repairers like Asahi Photo and Harrow Technical, other repairers will always say that as they don't keep boxes of old cameras for spares!)

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
