Red Squirrels - Macro!

As some of you know, we are currently on Brownsea Island on holiday which is giving us plenty of time to get close to the red squirrels, so close that I decided to switch from the 250-600mm to the 100mm WR Macro instead!

Probably ended up too close so went for a bit of abstract too!

Our last day full day here is tomorrow, so if you are about and want some tips, just ask!

The first two work very well with great character of expression in the second. I think the last two are too close and 'abstract' to really covey a sense of the animal. Its tempting to say they look rather red, but then I realise they ARE red !!

Thanks for the kind words, appreciated.

My favourite is actually the third one, looks great large as my wallpaper and I can't wait to get home to print it large!

^ agree completely. The first two are just lovely, but no.3 is the seller of the bunch.
