Lovely idea but your pic is dominating your dad's by its brightness and contrast which are undoubtedly accurate. As a pair they will work really well if you process to like the older one. There are loads of software packages that will do this or you can go with all the tools are your disposal in PS

Interested to know what did your dad use was he a Pentax man too?
Thanks Andrew. Yes he was but I don't know what he used as he p/x'd it all when he bought his K110D and I never found out what he used. However I've got his old smc PK-A 28mm which I use occasionally.
