Hello Again,

I'm introducing (or rather Father Christmas) my six and a half year old to photography and I'm looking for a compact camera with video option too.

I've see the Pentax M90

And the E90
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pentax-Optio-E90-Digital-Camera/dp/B0035LBM9E/ref=sr_1_51?ie=UTF8&qid=1321291265&sr=8-51

Both for around £60...

Any thoughts? on these cameras

Thanks
James

Well, my daughter bought me a pocketable digital mirrorless Pentax. It meets my main requirements, optical viewfinder, 5 x smc lens capable of sharp image and really close up macro, very versatile with all the manual functionality I need (P, Av, Tv, M, User + + + + + +.) does video as well, rotatable digital screen, metal body and looks and feels like a camera should. Her budget (she is only 16 years old) was limited, which was probably a good thing. Just 7 Mp and no shake reduction, but otherwise an excellent little camera and all for under £40. What is it? The Pentax Optio 750Z. If only Pentax had continued to develop a camera like this to compliment my K-5.

The 750Z is very good indeed.

If you're looking for something around the stated budget, check out for offers on the I-10, which is pretty good as well.
Best regards, John
