Can you post a picture? Or a link to a picture of exactly the same item?
Have they got flanges or rims on the bases like modern genuine Pentax caps - to cover the electrical contacts?

I will have to fish out the K10D and macro lens.
They look like the Pentax caps and fit my 18-55mm as smoothly as the original Pentax cap.

Could you just clarify how they cover the electrical contacts :
As Iceblinker mentioned, the newer Pentax caps have a flange to cover the contacts and the Sigma caps are just extra wide to perform the same function.
Are these like the Sigma caps :
