Real Life Sensor Test

OK, so I got up this morning and wanted to know what (if any) would show up in real life pictures that I may take.
Sadly, it does show quite strong (in the original size).
I just use here a smaller size from Flickr, but you still can see the fault to the left of the Weather Vane Cloud (9'o clock just of centre to the left. Better to bee seen in the large picture in the Flickr link)

Would be interesting if others have some real life examples. I know it is mostly sky, but this is really a picture taken under circumstances that I find myself in. I got others (Birds in flight, Sunset etc) where you clearly can see the fault and it prints out as well.
I know that some are easy done in PP but you should not have to do so.
Anyone else who got some examples where it is clearly shows in a picture taken in real life circumstances?
Kind regards

Use this link. The picture is not full size but you can see the fault in the highlighted part.
As mentioned in a previous post my fault is not that drastic as it is with others but it is still there!
Some might think that I should put up with it, but if you pay £1000+ for a camera you expect it to be faultless in particular if you use the camera for business purposes as well and I should not remove the fault in PP plus if I do not remove it it is visible even in an A4 print (tried that one now and yes it is there).

Ouch, that is quite evident on yours SmutjeUK... As you say you could easily PP it out, but when you've paid a £1,000 for a camera you shouldn't have to...

EDIT: lol you edited yours when I was typing so it looks like I repeated what you said... lol

For one reason or the other Flickr does NOT let me upload (or show) the full size image but you should be able to see it in the large size now that it is highlighted. The Original is about 4x the size and is far more visible. The only other way would be to crop the image but I wanted for the image to reflect 'life size' pictures without ANY PP.
Hope you be able to see it a bit better now anyway.

OK here is another link to another one where the fault is visible. This is a Sunrise picture and far more difficult to edit in PP. It is a bit of a shame that I can not figure out how to upload the full size picture on to Flickr for this picture as it is a bit more difficult to see but clearly visible in the full size picture and visible on A4 and A3 prints (even to my wife, as she asked me what this 'line' is on the pictures.
The 'X' marks the centre of the picture so you can see where the fault is in relation to the centre!
Many be interesting to see other 'real' pictures (no PP or crop) with the same fault. Anyone got one?

If I set the monitor zoom to 400% I can see the individual spots. I think you should be thinking about sending it back.

I think that Smutje should make prints of all these so that when his camera goes back to SRS for replacement Chris has the evidence. Since these show it quite clearly make another set of prints with the date imprinted on them .

I already agreed with SRS that I get a replacement in the beginning of January, so no problem there.
I just was up early today to try the interval timer I got of feeBay out (I know the K-5 has an interval timer build in but this one has a few more functions) and it just occurred to me that so far I only seen pictures of the sensor fault against a clean backdrop, so I thought I will see how bad it really is on a few pictures.
I am honest, I did not expect to see the the fault in the sunrise picture. I expected it in the Wind Vane picture as you only got the clear blue sky.
I know there are others that have it far worse than I have got, and as I got a few functions/parties to photograph between now and the New Year I was quite happy to wait till beginning of January when everything has calmed down again for me to get my replacement then (SRS had not enough in stock anyway, plus all the loan cameras where out).
I just started this thread to see if others have got the same in 'everyday pictures' (TBH I am not even sure if the posts should be in here or in the 'Your Pictures' section, but as it is to do purely with the sensor fault and nor showing off anything else I thought it may be OK in here. I hope I was right in my assumption )

My K5 is going back to SRS next Monday, I decided to give it a run out at the weekend and got some photos of Waxwings.
I didn't think I'd have a problem at F8 but I did, on a few of the shots I had to do some cloning to remove a spot in the centre of the frame.
I hope my replacement doesn't have the same problem, I think I'll ask SRS to test the replacement before they send it.
