I have a 28-70mm micro zoom ?? will it work on that lens :: or advice on a lens it will work with (kit lens)

It works best with lenses with smaller filter threads - so the kit lens is okay, but the 50-200 is better because of the magnification possibilities. Would probably work well with a nifty fifty.

Have been pretty pleased with the results of mine - it offers good bang for the buck. Though I may sell mine now I have an A50 macro.

Sorry, been out all day. I don't think it makes sense selling mine from here as the postage on a small item like this will likely be disproportionate. Better go with the Amazon one. I'll probably have to sell mine when I'm back in the UK/Europe.

Re. the thread size - the kit lenses are 52mm. As I said, the Raynox works well with the 50-200. Your 50mm (& 28?) will probably be 48mm, which is better (though a bit of a tight fit - I found, using it on my FA35, that it was better to fit the holder before screwing in the lens itself). The 28 is a bit wide a focal length - though I did sometimes use mine with my 35. But really I imagine you'd be wanting to use a longer lens with the DCR-150.

If you're planning on using lenses below 55mm focal length, then perhaps you might consider the Raynox 250, which has a larger magnification. The magnification is excessive on a telephoto such as the 50-200 (so I understand - I've had no direct experience), but maybe it would work better on shorter focal lengths. Can anyone else offer advice here?

The 250 is also on Amazon at a reasonable price.

Anyone know if they would be any use on the Pentax-A 100mm macro? I have a feeling the lens would be too big. I know it's 1:1 macro as it is but tempted at that price to purchase a Raynox 150 and try some really close up work. I guess I might need to get a decent flash though because I'd need to stop down a lot to get the depth of field...
