RAW shots have a border

Hope someone may have the answer I recently started shooting in RAW and noticed that there is a very thin pink line on the right hand side of the images,its not present in jpg and wondered if anyone had any idea what this is ?

As always grateful for any help,its no big deal but Im baffled K5 being used

It might be due to your RAW importer. I believe Prieni mentioned recently that SilkyPix gives him a few extra pixels around the edge of each photo which he doesn't get with ACR. (Those two details could be the wrong way round )

Thanks Tim this makes sense it looks almost like a mini barcode I dont think its a fault of any kind .
Im uploading to Elements 6 for now

Hi David

As Tim says - he may have got that wrong way around - many say silkypix is fine but several other free programmes have the problem you describe including Picasa - although arguably it is not actually a problem -
