You could try http://www.rawtherapee.com/. Originally for Linux but now available for Windows, it is very slow in Windows apparently but does a good job and supports the K100D. Haven't tried it myself but the reports are good, apart from it being slow. It may be faster in Linux though.

Jack,
Hello and welcome. As George points out there are quite a few programs for the Windoze user that'll process RAW files to TIF or JPG for further fettling in Corel etc. I'm out of touch with Corel now, might be worth looking to see if they have a plug-in to handle RAW files.
Silkypix seems to have become this forums preferred RAW processor, it is a bit "Japlish" in the interface and help files. Rawshooter essentials might be easier for a beginner. There are free versions for both. Capture One is also highly recommended.
It is well worth persevering with RAW, as you will find that the range of adjustments you can make are so much more subtle and varied and the eventual effect so much better - also most RAW processor leave the original file intact, but write theier adjustments to a file in a sub-folder of the original location, so that each time you view the original RAW file, those adjustments are applied.
RAW really is the "digital darkroom" !

The only program that seems support this format is the Pentax one that came with the camera which sucks. I have Corel Draw Graphics 13 also Corel PSP 10 and Rawshooter essentials.
Can some one suggest a program that works well or if there is a plug-in or
update that will help.
Many thanks kevin. (novice).
