If it wasn't for the spray coming from the rear wheels, you would think the cars are stationary.

I would agree. Using a slower shutter speed and panning can make for more impression of speed.
Looks a very good lens either way.

Thanks for the comment,s it was a mixed weather the stage was quite high with wind turbines low cloud
