This is by the River Yealm estuary and along to Steer Point, near Brixton South Hams, Devon. A nice short walk and our route also included old lanes that unbelievably the odd car still manages to drive. I mean to go back and take a flash for a picture of an old tree growing/competing on a wall adjacent to an old narrow rail bridge, all in shadows but the tree is centuries old. Another greyish day and these shots on the K1 mkii 28-105mm no tripod no filters.

The remains of a bridge that crossed over towards Kitley House, which has now stopped public access to the path on the other side, access there from Yealmpton, but I believe passes are available under certain conditions.

The clarity of the first one and the restricted colour palette make for a wonderful scene. I thought when I first saw it that it was a bit dark but studying it I came to like what the shadows were bringing to the party.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
