It happened to us in Rockhampton - believe me, you don't care what colour they are when you're trying to sleep!

Very true Daniel, they make an awful racket. Luckily for us they only eat at this tree and roost somewhere else

I have a pair of them nesting in a branch hollow of a large tree in my yard. I don't find them too noisy, compared to Cockatoo's, of which we have hundreds hanging around the neighbourhood, they are mute.
